I have been listening for the last few months and was really enjoying this app. Canceled my other music services, in fact. But I updated my phone to iOS version 18.5 and now this app is practically useless. Pauses at the end of every song and sometimes I can’t get it to play again without closing the app and starting over. I’m really sad because I’d really loved the channels and the selection. And I’m guessing no updates to will be coming, since I see the app hasn’t been updated since 2020. Sigh.

I try to listen to this because I like the song selections but it’s super buggy on CarPlay…It is always pausing after it finishes a song and I constantly have to re-open the app to play the next song, especially if I open any other apps on my phone like Google Maps, Snapchat, etc. The music will stop playing like I’m on YouTube’s website. Super inconvenient. Fix this and it’s 5 stars.

The account created on an iPhone works on iOS 15 thru 18.4.1 but gives you an email/password incorrect error on iPadOS. You can create a new account with the same email address on iPadOS - almost like the Account system on the iPadOS app is separate from iOS app - which is absolute stupidity because nothing in Five Star is available in the iPadOS app and needs to be recreated; and both lists need to be separately maintained… not worth the effort, it is easier to dump this app and use one that works across all iOS and iPadOS devices which it too bad because otherwise it gets an A+.

No station will start. Just keeps trying to load. I was stuck in an endless loop of trying to make an account and also an endless loop of finding help in the tech support section. Looks like other people like the app, so maybe my experience is a one-off.

I will start by saying I love the Accuradio curated station model. But it is so VERY annoying to not be able to use it on CarPlay. I would settle for a simplified CarPlay interface of just being able to change between previously favorited radio stations and occasionally skipping. Until then I sadly have to rate Accuradio as a 1 star. It’s practically useless without CarPlay for me. Please give us CarPlay and I will joyously give you 5 stars!

At first when downloading this app I really enjoyed it for listening to jazz music after JazzRadio.com started requiring a subscription. I quickly realized the songs on the few stations I listened to were extremely repetitive. It kind of annoys me but since it’s free I guess I can’t complain looks like I’ll have to consider a subscription service to have some variety during my workday.

Downloaded app, searched for a musician. Selected a channel and it would not play. Happened with all channels tried. No problem when using AccuRadio with Safari. Delete the app, stick to the website.

I love this app, I’ve used it for years. I just wish they could make it work with CarPlay.

To my old Classic old country music

I don’t know why this isn’t the biggest music app in the App Store. One suggestion: the ability to sort favorites by a-z and genre.

A great app with really great playlists. It would be my first choice if it could be used on Apple CarPlay and Apple TV.

So I rarely give apps a 5stars but this is an exception due to the fact I listen to this fairly often. In fact if they produced an offline subscription for moments of being out of the country that worked successfully and truly offline until reconnected to an internet source either celluar or router. Then I'm may acutally purchase it and probably rid of Pandora. But one thing it must work without issue like it does with Pandora. Be flexible like them with pricing.

Recently the ads are being played at higher decibels than the music. VERY annoying. I have deleted this app and switched to Radio Garden.

I’ve had plenty of music apps that don’t work or charge to hear good music. This app loaded quickly within 3 minutes I had gone from searching the App Store to starting my playlist. Im 65 and my phone is smarter than me. This app is so user friendly that I was able to figure how it works in a few seconds. PLUS, I can Bluetooth it with my car and have my own music to listen too.

Good variety of music - when app works. Freezes, goes mute way too often. It’s the app. Other music apps are fine. Have deleted & downloaded repeatedly. No improvement. Argh. Adios, AccuRadio.

I’ve used other streaming apps and this is my favorite. I love that is it always free. The music variety is great and I LOVE LOVE LOVE the 5 star radio. I also love being able to blend stations, and thanks to the rotating commercial free stations, I’ve found even more music I like. I’m rating only 4 stars due to the repetitive nature of the ads. When ads come on, there are about 2-3 (1.5 minutes MUCH less than standard over the air radio or TV), but they are usually the same ads each break. That gets very old, very fast. I understand the need for ads and am fine with them, would like more variety with them. Other than that BEST FREE STREAMING!!

I love the Accuradio app. Here’s a suggestion. Why not add a free sleep timer? Because I like listening to music while I’m in bed.

This is the closest thing to 70’s AOR, without the static and with the same level of actual human curated music. I’ve dumped the $15 a month algostreams and I’ve got way more variety and much better music.

Definitely love AccuRadio. We have it on all day at work and I also listen at home. The variety of the channels keep the music fresh and the stuff I hear on some of the channels are great deep cuts (not just what’s popular). Great to hear long lost songs I haven’t heard I years. Keep up great work!!!

I used to love this website. It was a treasure trove of broadway. But the app is problematic. It wants you to log in, but there’s a glitch in the process. I can type in my username and proceed, but it won’t accept my password even when the website will. And from there the process restarts, but with the old password box layered underneath the new login box. Gonna delete it and give up.

Don’t get me wrong, I truly do love this radio, I’ve mixed several custom channels for my workday. But I do have a question, how do you rename a channel? You used to be able to do it when you customized a blended channel, but the feature seems to have disappeared or at least I can’t find it. Help.

The app is a bit outdated, but the company is committed to making sure the radios are user friendly and most importantly, free. I often use these radios to help me discover new artists and songs that I don’t get recommended by actual paid services. The only thing I would ask them to improve on is to let their users save song titles that they like. That would make it easier for us to remember which songs we really loved from these stations instead of having to take constant screenshots.

Not many apps still work on my old iPod, but AccuRadio does :) it's funny because even Apple Music's radio stations have been not working recently, but AccuRadio does 🎶📻🎶

Does not play on iPhone. <null> errors all over it. Have tried for three days now. The app simply does not work.

No radio stations will load

You can’t call it 100% free because you have to swim through the ads while skipping the stations. Ads are too long boring irreverent. This app deserves 0 stars but I like the notion of building me up a classic country music playlist

Wonderful ‘Classical Relaxation’ channel!

AccuRadio is easy to use, always available with minimal ads. As a senior, it does remind me of the times you heard more music than ads, but today I get to select what I want to listen to and for FREE! I have tried the others and usually have to end up paying for it!

Imma tell everybody, best kept secret out there to go way back to music and find it creep on you. Yea that’s my song, turn dat up!!!

Listened to the web stream via Safari and it would play one song and the. stop playing until I hot pause and play. Rinse; repeat. So I downloaded app. It did not play anything, simply gave me spinning circles similar to another reviewer. I did not sign up for an account. For the record I never heard any commercials 😉. Hope others have better luck. Latest iOS

I had this particular app once and loved it so much! But I got another iPhone and haven’t downloaded because in the AppStore it shows it hasn’t had an update in a year or more. Why is that? That’s the only reason I haven’t downloaded it yet because I strive to follow best security n privacy practices on my phone and that’s one way of getting hacked is with non updated apps and software. So if ever you do provide an update for this really gorgeous app, I will be the first to download 🤗!!!! Thanks

I have listened to Accuradio for years and the amount of music that you can listen to with such interesting playlists and such a small amount of commercials is amazing! You will hear your favorites in a station of your choice and then discover so many more. It is a blessing and I wish Accuradio the best for years to come! Thank you.

Absolutely love all the variety offered here and at no charge!! The only complaint I have is it shuts off at the end of the song that’s playing. This started a couple of weeks ago and I have to restart AccuRadio each time. It’s very frustrating.

I would pay to get rid of all the commercials. Way to many interruptions. Could be great, but not.

iPhone 13 (?) It’s nothing but the three yellow dots going around and around and around. I’m going to miss this app. ☹️

This seems like a good idea and if the favorites feature worked well I would rate it higher. My gripe is that it does no good to have 200+ favorites if the algorithm plays the same 8-12 songs over and over.

Makes discovering music completely seamless. I would recommend this to and music lover 10/10

Hi Accu Radio Are You Going To Be Updating Your App To IOS 16 With The Theme Feature And Other Features.

Great selection of 80’s Hair Metal bands. I been using AccuRadio for almost 5 years and have never experienced an issue with connectivity or playback.

No search button, went to “rate in App Store” in settings got “Cannot connect to App Store.” I don’t expect perfection, but a LOT less imperfection would be nice from those who constantly view their ilk as “better and smarter” than all before them.

A lot of ads Rat Pack needs a lot work

We’ve been listening to this at work for a couple weeks now. Every person that walks by starts singing. From people in their 50’s to people in their 20’s.

In the past it was just banner ads now it is ads constantly. Very annoying.
